World’s most wanted managers

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in line to become the Manchester United manager, replacing Jose Mourinho who is expected to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June.

Solskjaer is currently in charge of the club’s reserve team, but he holds the Norwegian national team record for most goals scored by a player in the UEFA Champions League – 85 goals in 128 appearances.

While Mourinho has been United’s manager since 2013, he has been linked with a return to Chelsea, which he managed between 2004 and 2007. In that time, the Portuguese won three Premier League titles, three FA Cups and the Champions League.
