Man found dead in Virginia home

Vaughan police investigating a “suspicious death” late Monday night found a 50-year-old man dead inside a home, the Fox 5 DC reported Tuesday.

Officers were called around 11:15 p.m. Monday and found the body of a white male inside the residence. According to Fox 5, he died of multiple gunshot wounds. It’s unclear how the man died, although Fox 5 said the death was being investigated as suspicious.

A home surveillance camera captured images of people arriving at the residence Monday night, but it’s unclear if the man may have been home at the time, Fox 5 reported.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Fairfax County Homicide Unit at 658-985-1316.

The Arlington County Police Department issued a press release Tuesday requesting people to avoid the area.
